Visiting Harvest
We're Happy to Have You
Whether you are curious or seriously seeking a "church home," you are very much welcome at Harvest. The events below help you know what to expect on Sundays, but there are plenty of weekday programs if you want to visit then.
Sundays at Harvest
-
Worship
Worship services are at 9:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Greeters will welcome you into the church building and give you a program outlining the service. Biblical teaching, prayer, giving, and regularly-scheduled communion services are key components of worship at Harvest. Families are encouraged to keep their children with them during worship, but a nursery is available for young children.
-
Fellowship
Immediately following the worship service, there is a time for fellowship outside in the gazebo. Children play in the enclosed playground while adults enjoy fellowship. Coffee, drinks, and refreshments are served.
On the first Sunday of the month, there is a Fellowship Meal after Sunday School, except November when the meal is on the second Sunday. On those days there is no evening service.
-
Sunday School
Sunday School classes meet after fellowship time at 11:20 a.m. until 12:15. The classes for children and youth meet in the classrooms, while the adult class is held in the sanctuary. If you need help finding where to go, don't hesitate to ask.
-
Prayer
The third Sunday night of each month we have an all-congregation evening of prayer instead of a sermon service. Visitors are welcome; bring your prayer requests.
